This is a satirical game, not a live accounting of a real person's money. The dated opening wealth estimate is sourced. Everything that happens after play begins is simulated.

Reported reference points

• Opening net worth: $892 billion. Forbes' estimate as of September 1, 2026, reported by CNBC TV18 on September 8. It is a dated snapshot, not the latest quote. Forbes' real-time ranking and Bloomberg's index can differ materially and change rapidly. Never interpret this number as liquid cash.
• SpaceX: 48.4% reported beneficial interest as of June 30, 2026, according to an August 13 filing covered by Reuters and the filing mirror. It includes restricted stock and options, not only immediately saleable shares.
• Tesla: 19.9% reported beneficial interest in Musk's June 17, 2026 Schedule 13G/A, available via this filing mirror. The reported 699,580,882 shares include 286,428,773 service-restricted shares. This is not the same as a freely tradeable stake or a cash account.

What the game invents

The $10 billion of opening cash is not a verified cash balance. It is subtracted from the sourced wealth estimate to create $882 billion of generic modeled holdings; these are not a valuation of any single company. The $60 million annual game cash flow is not a verified personal income rate. Tesla or SpaceX corporate revenue is not Elon Musk's personal income, and changes in stock value are not cash receipts. The 4.5% base equity growth, 25-year horizon, 1% annual crash chance, optional 3× concentration, 7% debt interest, prices, upkeep and resale values are all hypothetical rules. There is no credit gate: buying beyond cash creates debt; debt alone is not a win. After the game starts, the on-screen net worth is purely simulated.
