拍拍乐 Slap TD — Tap Your MacBook to Play Tower Defense | Panor
拍拍乐 Slap TD is a native macOS tower-defense game from Panoramic Intelligence with an unusual twist: instead of mouse clicks or keyboard shortcuts, you play by physically tapping and tilting your MacBook. The game reads your laptop's accelerometer in real time — a sharp tap on the chassis fires a cannon, tilting the laptop aims the trajectory, and a quick double-tap unleashes a special attack.
How it plays
- Tap to fire — tap the palm rest, trackpad area, or chassis; the harder you tap, the more powerful the projectile.
- Tilt to aim — physically tilt the laptop left or right to direct the cannon's trajectory.
- 30 escalating waves — enemies of increasing speed, armour, and special abilities cross the map; defend your base.
- Tower placement — between waves, place stationary towers using a regular trackpad, then return to slap-mode for combat.
- Boss waves — every fifth wave introduces a boss with a unique mechanic that requires a specific slap pattern.
- Score and leaderboard — submit your run; top scores per MacBook model are tracked separately because accelerometer characteristics vary.
Hardware requirements
Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1 / M2 / M3 / M4 across Air and Pro) are fully supported. Intel MacBook Pro (2016+) works but with reduced accelerometer fidelity. A flat surface is recommended; lap or cushion play significantly increases noise. The game uses Core Motion APIs and macOS 13+ is required.
Design philosophy
Most casual games on a laptop are mouse-and-keyboard re-skins. 拍拍乐 asks what is actually unique about a MacBook as a gaming platform — the answer is precise high-frequency motion sensing in a beautifully rigid chassis. The gameplay celebrates the tactile feel of striking aluminium.
Cautions
Tap with your fingertips, not knuckles. Don't tap the screen. The game limits tap intensity recognition above a safety threshold and warns if you appear to be hitting too hard. Apple does not endorse this game, and Panor is not responsible for hardware damage from misuse.
