Mystic Tarot 神秘塔罗 — Gesture-Controlled AI Tarot Reading | Panor
Mystic Tarot (神秘塔罗) is a free in-browser tarot-card experience from Panoramic Intelligence. Unlike clickable virtual decks, it uses your laptop's camera and Google MediaPipe hand tracking to let you reveal cards with real-world hand gestures — pinch to draw, flip to reveal, sweep to clear the spread. Once cards are drawn, an LLM provides a deep contextual interpretation tying the symbolism to the question you asked.
How a reading works
- Allow camera access. All vision processing runs locally in your browser via MediaPipe — your camera stream never leaves your device.
- Type your question. Free-form, in English or Chinese, e.g. "Should I take the new job offer?" or "What is blocking me right now?"
- Choose a spread. Single-card daily draw, three-card past/present/future, or the full ten-card Celtic Cross.
- Reveal with your hands. Hover over a card and pinch index-to-thumb to flip it. Smooth animations, no mouse needed.
- Read the AI interpretation. Each card's traditional meaning, its position in your spread, and a synthesis tied back to your question.
Card deck and tradition
The deck is a Rider-Waite-Smith faithful illustration with public-domain artwork. Interpretations follow mainstream tarot tradition (Hajo Banzhaf, Rachel Pollack) rather than novelty re-interpretations, while the LLM layer adds contextual relevance to your specific question.
Privacy
Camera frames are processed by MediaPipe entirely client-side — they are never uploaded to any server. Your question text is sent to the LLM endpoint for interpretation only and is not stored or used for training.
FAQ
Do I need a webcam? Yes — but you can also use mouse fallback mode if no camera is available.
Mobile? Works on phones; pinch gesture uses front-camera tracking.
Is this real divination? Tarot is a reflective practice — treat the cards as prompts for your own thinking rather than predictions.
